The best place to source for your goods as far as things to sell in Nigeria is concerned is China.
The choice for China is purely based on cost effectiveness.
Though you can source for your product in America or Germany or everywhere in the world but for the purpose of this discussion we will like to stick to China, reasons is still because it is cost saving to shop in China.
China has been the home destination for major manufacturing companies ,simply because the cost of production is cheap and the country has a large population making the cost for labour affordable.
Also the governments incentives and interest rate is encouraging.
Having said that, we would like to debunk the notion by many Nigerians that Chinese products are fake , this is fallacy, it will be of your interest to know that Chinese produce items that are sold world wide.
The nitty-gritty is that the country allows for every standardization that is acceptable worldwide , what this means is that American standard can be produced in China like wise Nigerian standard.
So each country has the right to either accept or reject the products if it meets or does not meet the country's stipulated standards.
In china there are many online websites where one can source for items , shop and ship direct to Nigeria.

For the purpose of our discussion here, we will choose aliexpress as our case study.
Latter you can try your hands on many other sites but always be cautious of your security.
Aliexpress has proven to be reliable, their customer service is efficient and the escrow method is also well commendable.

Fill the necessary contact details like an
active email address.

Select the items you like

Read all the comment about the seller from the
previous buyers.
5.
Make an informed decision from the comment.

Click on contact the seller.
7.
Start a chart with the seller by sending a
message to the seller.
8.
The seller will reply to your email immediately or latter.

The discussion between you and the seller is all about the price and how to ship it to an address I will provide latter.
1 Always try to bargain well, bearing in mind that the
more the seller can reduce money for you the
more you can make your own money
in Nigeria.
A simple message from a
prospecting buyer to a seller:

I am a retailer so I would like
to know how much discount you will give to a bulk buyer.
Also I will like the package shipped
to a Chinese address I will provide latter...

The seller will reply but it might not be immediately because of the time differences. China is (GMT+8) while Nigeria is (GMT+1) .
After the back and fort bargaining discussions between you and the seller, you finally reached an acceptable price.
The next is the shipping to Nigeria.
Majority of the seller will put shipping to Nigeria using China post.
This is okay but it will take days to months before it gets to Nigeria.
This you wont like , so how will you ship it to Nigeria, as quickly as possible and with a means that is cost effective.
